Hyacinth: -  (hyacinthus orientalis) Hyacinth oil is wonderfully tantalizing and has incredible depth. It has an invigorating sharp, sweet green top note that blends down through a spicy somewhat herbal middle note and ends with an uplifting elevated sweet floral bottom note. Once I found this exquisite Hyacinth, I knew it was the one. I never dilute my oils so it is strong. Extracted from the purple flowers of hyacinthus orientalis.

CONNOISSEUR COLLECTION OF FINE AND RARE ABSOLUTES

Both essential oils and absolute oils are 100% natural. They differ in        their method of extraction. Essential oils are largely obtained using        steam distillation. However, when a plant material is too delicate for        that process, solvent extraction is used to obtain what is called an           absolute oil. Then all solvent is removed to complete the finished           product. Absolutes are known to be the closest representation of the  original plant material.

Absolutes are extremely strong and must be diluted prior to use. In         fact, absolutes smell better once they are diluted rather than in the      "full" form. One or two drops of a rare absolute added to either a base  oil or some other type of "carrier" will make the use of them extremely  affordable indeed. Absolutes have an amazing shelf life and can be         extended by keeping them in a cool, dark environment.

Absolutes can make your candle, soap or other creations "pop" with a    fragrance not easily duplicated in the natural plant kingdom.

As with all absolute and essential oils, never use them undiluted. Do not take internally. Keep away from children. If applying an essential oil to   your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body.

All absolutes come in a 1 dram bottle.
